Research Mission

The department has been very active and successful in research. It is involved in several projects addressing the current trends in computer science. Thanks to these projects and support from both the state budget and cooperating companies and institutions, the department has acquired and is gradually improving a sophisticated technological infrastructure consisting of a large number of computers interconnected into a number of local networks. Students and faculty have access to high-speed Internet through which they access e-learning systems widely used in lectures.
