The dept. has organized ECML PKDD 2013!

The department has organized the European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases (ECML PKDD 2013) - the largest and most renowned European conference on Machine Learning and Data Mining. The conference was extremely successful, attracting well over 500 participants and featuring a novel journal track. Special issues of the Machine Learning and Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery journals devoted to ECML PKDD 2013 are already out.
